Beautiful Vineyard Wedding

This past August MichaelAngelos provided the floral and decor for a vineyard-themed wedding at Willow Harbor Vineyards. It was so fun to work with the bride, because she wanted a wedding that was fun, funky and natural, but left the exact designs of her floral up to the MichaelAngelos team!

The bouquets and centerpieces featured a mixture of fresh greens, wine and burgundy floral. Rich wine colored dahlias, deep red ranunculus, wine colored celosia, burnt orange kangaroo paws, chocolate brown fiddlehead fern, green succulent, and touches of eggplant callas to were just a few of the stunning flowers that made this wedding very rich and elegant, but natural at the same time. Seeded eucalyptus, fern and ivy were added in and throughout designs for added texture. All of the designs were natural and free-flowing, and the bouquets were wrapped in natural raffia for a final touch!

Birch Branch Structure

Wouldn't you love to get married under this beautiful, natural birch branch structure?

Madison and Troy - 7.3.10

Madison and Troy got married on a BEAUTIFUL July day in Sturgis, Michigan on the serene and peaceful Klinger Lake. The bride and groom were high school sweethearts, and planned a very personal and intimate wedding ceremony and reception.

Anyone could see the very special relationship the Bride and Groom shared, as well as their wonderful relationships with their families. All of the family members chipped in to help in Madison and Troy's wedding in their own way, to make the wedding a true family affair!

Madison is an incredibly talented invitation designer in the South Bend area (http://www.madisonjennifer.com/index2.php#/home/), and used her amazing attention to detail to think of lots of intimate touches to make her and Troy's wedding that much more special. MichaelAngelos supplied reception lighting and a fabric treatment in the tent, which created a sunny and airy dinner hour, and then a fun dance party at night. The ceremony fabric structure framed the Bride and Groom during their vows, which took place on the golf course. And Madison even made signs on a tree telling guests where to go for the different events. She truly made sure that the wedding colors and design were carried into every aspect of the wedding!

Madison and Troy's wedding was very special to MichaelAngelos as well, because it was one of our 2010 day-of coordination clients! MichaelAngelos spent the day at Klinger Lake, not just setting up the floral and decor, but also coordinating the vendors, supervising the setup, and working with the Bride and Groom to ensure the wedding day went smoothly from start to finish. It truly was a fun, busy and successful wedding, and we were so thankful to be a part of such a special day!

Purple Paradise!

The Palais Royale was colored purple for one of our beautiful summer weddings! We loved the beautiful cymbidium orchids, and the purple carnations show how to use an inexpensive flower in a high-end, attention grabbing way!

Below are photos of the low centerpieces, the tall centerpieces, the Head Table featuring all of the bridal party bouquets, and the gorgeous cake!

James & Tina - 6.11.10

Classic with a contemporary twist...Tina & James knew exactly what they wanted as they planned for their wedding day. Deep magenta's, lettuce greens and touches of black were present throughout their floral and decor.

Guests were "wowed!" by the lounge furniture and atmosphere that was set-up at the end of the ballroom. This more intimate area gave guests an option for mingling while taking a break from the dance floor! MichaelAngelos rents furniture for both weddings and events and will select custom pillows to match any color palette...The additional lighting and greenery helped complete the look by closing it in; making it seem that much more private.

All of the couple's tall, slender centerpieces juxtaposed a sleek, modern vase with more traditional floral. The result was exactly what they had intended...a classic look with a modern twist! Event their cake floral was a stunning cascade of magenta dendrobium orchids. We wish James & Tina all the best!

Scott & Devin - 6.12.10

Scott & Devin's wedding day, June 12th, was such a special day! The couple chose an outdoor ceremony and reception site to celebrate with family and friends. Every aspect of the site was transformed into the "lake side, garden party" they had initially envisioned. Their overall floral and decor revolved around a turquoise, marigold, tomato red and grass green hues.

The beautiful bride's bouquet was made up of lush white peonies, white ranuculus, creamy ivory dahlias, white delphinium, white star of Bethlehem and touches of green. The bridesmaids' bouquets were colorful and coordinated wonderfully with the bride's bouquet.

Many congratulations to Devin & Scott as they begin their lives together!

Engagement Party - 7.24.10

Congratulations to the newly engaged couple! This engagement party took place on Saturday, July 24th at the home of the bride-to-be's parent's. The inspiration for the outdoor tent event was a lime green and purple color palette; something that was both fun and summery.

Two tents were utilized: a large one for the guest tables and dining area while a smaller one was used for the bar. The dining area was enhanced with a ceiling fabric treatment, coordinating tent pole fabric covers and specialty lighting (LEDs and sparkle lights). The bar tent also had coordinating tent pole fabric covers and hanging lanterns.

The effect? Simply magical when the sun went down and guests were celebrating with the soon-to-be married couple!

Raymond & Kim - 4.24.10

Raymond & Kim's wedding on April 24th was a celebration of their new life together. Their floral and decor, both at the ceremony and reception, spoke of true elegance! Varying shades of purple and ivory - with touches of green - were represented throughout their day.

The couple's reception, at The Woodward, featured a romantic candlescape with varying sized cylinder vases. Each cylinder contained a single floating candle. The cylinders were interconnected by natural curly willow, orchids and spray roses.

Mark & Becky - 4.17.10

Mark & Becky were married on April 17th at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart. The couple was inspired by a "fresh & organic" look, and thus all of their floral and decor reflected this theme!

Shades of green and white with navy accents comprised the couple's primary color palette. Touches of yellow were also worked into the bouquets. One great option for all flower girls is the flower wand... Beautiful, unique and fun!

Janelle & Shaun - 6.5.10

Shaun & Janelle were married on June 5th at the Mill Creek Barn in Watervliet, Michigan. The bride and groom were inspired by a color palette of clover green, crisp whites and soft yellows; creating a "rustic elegance" that played upon the natural setting of the Barn and its surrounding grounds.

The bark vase containers, the natural twine cocktail table tie backs, birch branches and white lanterns all contributed to the beautiful and unique "natural look" that the couple wanted. The result? A memorable evening for both the bride and groom and all of their family and friends!

Stanz Food Services... Under Construction!

Stanz Food Services holds their annual food show at the Century Center. This year, MichaelAngelos was given the task of turning the entrance and trade show area into a true construction site for the 2010 theme "Under Construction".

No construction item was left behind! From scaffolding to truss arches, construction cones and barrels to construction signs, to saw horses, tools, ladders, everything you would find on an actual construction site! There were even construction workers hard at work!
